What is an internal halyard flagpole?
An internal halyard flagpole has the rope on the inside of the flagpole shaft. This is typically done for security reason. These poles have either a winch or a jam-cleat located inside the pole the raise and lower the flag. More maintenance is required on internal halyard flagpoles.
